thanks I really like them all. Yes, the 300 Win Mag is a brute of a weapon and more than most would ever need unless maybe on safari in Africa.  The reason I chose that caliber was, I was used to a very high caliber rifle in Vietnam as a sniper and I suppose over the years I am just accustomed to large caliber weapons. The truth be told, my favorite of all of them is my Golden Boy .22 mag Henry. That firearm has the smoothest action, most flawless performance shot after shot and is laser accurate with open iron sights. I could put a scope on it but that just ruins the look of a good old American original lever gun. The only thing I ever fire a weapon at is gallon milk jugs, paper targets, tin cans clay pigeons and the like. I don't hunt or have the desire to kill any living thing. thanks for sharing with us. Neighbor bought a Henry in .357. Really something to look at with that beautiful receiver and stock.

mauser9 Henry rifles in solid brass are American works of firearm art. They take me back to the 1940's when as a kid I would watch cowboy films with John Wayne, Tim Holt, Gene Autry, Audie Murphy and in many of those films some had original 1860 Henry's. If I buy another rifle it will probably be the Henry reproduction of the 1860 Henry in 44-40 centerfire.  My Henry's are flawless operating, very accurate open sight firearms. Never had a single issue with them ever. My Golden Boy .22 Magnum is unbelievable in how butter smooth that lever action works. Although I am becoming very endeared to my Remington 300 Win Mag

Thanks for the additional pic of the Henry. Got a couple bolt 22 magnums but am constantly drawn to those lever action rimfires. Seems like good ole fashioned quality.

the one really good thing about a Henry
Customer service is the very best of any product. Lifetime warranty to any owner first or second or whoever' The CEO himself handles almost everything personally all American made down to the last screw. Measure twice- cut once and Observe & Deduct... best advice I was ever offered

My Henry's are almost always hanging in their Henry wall displays.
I rarely shoot them but when I do it is a lot of fun.

Sportsman's Guide sells display cases that are somewhat reasonable...
