I have been lurking on this site for some time but have never introduced myself to the community. I currently own an 870 that I have had for 40+ years, and 3 1100's, including 2 magnums, one of which is a left handed model. My 20 gauge skeet 1100 is one of the sweetest shooting shotguns I have ever fired. I am also about to "pull the trigger" on a new R51 or an R1. Probably both eventually. My main interest is waterfowl hunting and clay target shooting. I used to love to chase quail behind my pointers when I was younger, but,sadly, there aren't many bobwhites left here in my part of the state anymore.

Welcome from another 1100 owner. Clays are my favorite sport too. Would love to find another in 20 but are often difficult to find in my area at any price. Folks often holding onto these models rather than trading these days. Many new models are ugly as hell and the fit and finish especially the bluing are that ugly matte.
