I have joined this site for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and information for shooting the Remington 1911 R1. This is my first .45ACP and so far the experience of owning and shooting the R1 has been nothing but possitive. My many years of hunting, skeet, and trap shooting has exposed me to the many virtues of Remington.

Welcome to Remington Owners forum! Its great to have you as part of our growing community. The Remington Model 1911 R1 is going to be one of the next pistols that I purchase. Do you have any other firearms?

We've got a great group of folks here and the atmosphere is very laid back. The only thing we like better than discussing each other's guns is lookin at 'em, so be sure to post up some pics of any firearms you own as well.
