Well, Louisiana is the "Bayou State" and Bob is my name. The avatar was my '74 BMW "airhead" motorcycle R90/6, the model. I rode it to Canada in 2000 with a buddy of mine. It was a favorite trip and one off the "bucket list".

I am a fairly laid back guy but I go from mellow to hard-core psycho in under one second. My temper is like all-or-none basically. I guess it's always been that way, come to think of it. But for as long as I can remember, my family and friends all call me Snappo. It's even on my license plate. LOL |

My screen name is something useful and sometimes needed. The avatar looks like me when I play with my cat, it does not scare her or anything but she does get fired up, mostly an inside joke for me.

I prefer dogs myself...they seem to care more about what you're into...and WANT to be with you.

Hello everyone. My username "Chevybbc" is simply a name I frequently came Accross when working on a '67 Chevelle I restored. It that described all the Engine parts as being a Big Block. I never really understood why is it spelled the way it is but at the time it looked cool so It stuck. Like so many other things in life, the Chevelle is long gone and the name is all that's left. I live in the upstate South Carolina dead between Greenville and Spartanburg.

First let me say this is a very cool site. Thanks!
My screen name is a contraction of my first name (Gary) and last name nickname. Being Italian few can say my last name hence nappi, which I use (gnappi) on every board. My avatar is one of four images of my own animated gif of a reverse bas relief selfie I made in 2005 |

Hello, and excited to be a new member here.
Unfortunately, my screen name and avatar story is simple. I'm from Texas, and I like to shoot. ...Perhaps even that is redundant? My Modest Collection:

My screen name is an old mainframe user ID I had in another life. It seemed like every named I tried was always taken. When I found one that wasn't on one site, it was on others I visited. I haven't had that problem since I started using this one.
My avatar is a picture of me that was taken by a friend while we were out deer hunting here in Ohio. I'm wearing my T/C Contender in 44 magnum that I've hunted with for over 20 years now. I like to shoot whitetail deer. That should explain them both.

My Avatar is a Pic of my Family Heirloom Remington 1903A3 manufactured in May of 1943 at Ilion. My screen name is short for Zip Gun a name I swiped from a fighter pilot. It was unique and never an issue to use when signing up for blogs and forums. Zgun has been my online handle for 25 years.

At the Crazy Lemon Bar & Grill, I'm known as Shiner John. John is my name, and Shiner Bock is my beverage of choice. I chose my avatar because that book was a life changer for me!

I really do not remember why I picked the handle " Icerigger2 " guess it was all I could think of at the time when I joined a gun forum many moons ago.
Anyway I have been a gun owner for over 40 years and while I have had many types of pistols the RM380 is the first Remington pistols I have even fired or owned. I was from New York City and joined the Air Force after high school. After my 8 year tour in the Air Force was over and I was stationed in Ft Worth so I stayed here and never intend to leave Texas. I am glad to be on this gun forum and hoping to learn all I can about the RM380. Icerigger2 |

Screen name: it originally started at Sandman from a nickname given to me when I returned from being deployed for Desert Shield and Desert Storm. But more often than not, the screen name was taken and since I was a Sergeant then and it worked, I kept the screen name.
Avatar: I work for a unit in the Pennsylvania AIr National Guard. They did away with the design for something else but luckily, I saved a copy and I like it much better than the new Logo/Insignia they use now. The National Guard, the ORIGINAL Department of Homeland Security since 1636.

Ranger22, is easy. The ranger part is my job, 22 was the first caliber of rifle I used. Advanced from the 22 to 222, 22-250( my personal favourite), 243 and now a 270 which I've use for the last 15 years.

My son has an English Setter puppy from a local breeder and he is showing incredible promise so I decided to use the breed name as a tribute to my son and his pup. My avatar should explain itself.
If I am not creating, I am dying.

Hello to all members !
I just purchased my first Remington firearm. A Model 783 chambered in 300 Win Mag with a scope I currently own two beautiful Henry lever action rifles chambered in .44 magnum and .22 magnum. As well as this new 783 model Remington and a Smith and Wesson 380 auto M&P Bodyguard. I don't hunt. Had enough killing to last a lifetime and then some. I just shoot targets, milk jugs, things like that. Still love to fire an excellent firearm just don't want to hurt anything or anyone. I am loving this 783. Really accurate and flawless functioning rifle especially for the money spent. I am going to put a better scope on it though. I don't know how Remington can make this nice a firearm and retail it for 299.00 with any scope and still make money. But I'm glad they do. Thank you MikeD !
I truly appreciate the thank you but I only did what any citizen should do when called upon no more no less. I joined this forum after getting my 783 because I have not been so impressed with a firearm this nice for this kind of investment and to learn from it's members and maybe contribute a little now and then.
