I thought about seeing if I could get a tritium insert put in the front sight on the RM380? Is it possible to have it done, it there enough front sight to have this done and the six million dollar question is who can do such a job?

I would be interested in that depending on cost and downtime...

You really like to customize your guns Steve :-) But, I'll bet that would be an expensive proposition since the sights aren't replaceable.

But, if not tritium, could the front sight be drilled and an orange post be inserted (see front sight of an old Charter Arms Off Duty .38 special as an example). OR, cound the front sight be ground flat, drilled, tapped and something installed in front ??

I read a post somewhere on a long forgotten Forum where the OP had I believe a Taurus 92 (with integral front sight) and sent the slide off and had someone drill and install a tritium vial in the front sight but I can't remember where or who.
