Hi, I just bought a decent and honestly used Remington 870 Police Magnum 12 gauge. I got it for a very good price so I didn't really get too picky about it upon initial inspection. Anyhow I took it home to clean it last nigh and the mag tub cap was screwed on very very tight, I needed a cloth and some channel locks to get it off, luckily most of the threading is fine except the very top one seems to be slightly stripped out/rounded at the top. It screws back on just fine and clicks a fair amount of times but it seems like it's right in that limbo of feeling like it should just go one more click tighter but when I try it I don't wanna risk further damage to the threading. Any help or advice? Or am I just over thinking it? Thanks!
Nick
