I finally received my Alabama Commemorative. Our gun club on Redstone Arsenal (almost next door to the new Remington plan) placed a mass order for these last spring. We paid in July, and after months of waiting received them in February.

Despite the wait, I'm well pleased. It will be a shooter as much as a keepsake. I've only fired one box through it. The long trigger pull is no problem for me, as I'm used to a similar one on my Ruger LCP. at 10 paces it shot to point of aim. I was able to get palm sized groups at that distance by staging the trigger much like a double action revolver.

My wife can rack the slide with her weak hands, but cannot manage the long trigger pull, unfortunately.

Very nice! Wish I lived in North Alabama, one of the best kept secrets of the south.
