Born in '51 in and raised in SW NE. Did stint in Army from '70-'74. Moved to Iowa
in '76. But still have fondness for home state, i.e., get a good feeling when the
'Huskers whip the Hawkeyes.

First CF was a 700 in .25-06 which turned out to be a great combo rifle for
prairie dogs and deer. Have since inherited a 788 in .22-250 which holds a
lot of good memories prior to the 700.

I now have a 700ml converted to smokeless which is scary accurate.

Also like to garden and fish, although the fishin' usually takes a back burner
to other things needed on our acreage.
