Hello everyone. I am a new member and live in SE Wisconsin. We have a handful of Remington long guns in the family including 2 x 870's in 12ga, 2 x 700ADL's in 223, and the one that started the relationship, an 1100 12ga originally built in 1978.

My boys and I are involved in clays and to a lesser extent, pheasants. My oldest is starting on a new a trap league at the high school.

The 700's are used for hunting dogs out west where we have gone for the last three years. Lots of fun and lots of rounds. I think we scare more than we hit but it is fun shooting at 300 to 400 yards. It seems like the big bloodbath hunts were over since before we started due to the plague but I am sure the populations will come back.

So, I have some questions now and I am certain there will be more as we try to get better and maintain and improve our stable of long guns.

Thanks for letting me join the forum!

Welcome to the forum and am an avid 1100 and 700 fan myself. My 1100 dates to 79 and still shootin like the day I bought it. Love the older models myself and not too crazy about the newer stuff. Good place for questions here

Welcome from MI!!!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.-Ronald Reagan
