Boyds is offering several versions of stocks for the 783 now. PTG lists a bottom metal for the 783. Criterion as I understand is working on barrels at the moment. I am excited to see stuff starting to roll out for the 783.

Hi all,
I am in the works of making some steel picatinny scope rails for the 783. I will have the first prototype available shortly. Standard 0 MOA base, 6 inches in length. Pictures to follow. If this is something of interest to you please let me know. I am currently working on pricing and finish options. Scofield Industries Remington 783 scope rail. |

I have confirmation that the first Criterion test barrel is being sent to Northland for testing. Hopefully testing turns out well.

Are they available yet? Very interested! |

The Boyd stocks look really nice; contemplating on ordering me one for my new 783. That's what I love about these firearms, there is so many options for them. You can turn a $350 gun into a $1000 one and still shoots better than a $2000. Has anyone here got one from Boyd yet? Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk |

Any picture updates yet. The only thing I did not like about the accessories for the 783 is the lack of scope plates/ bases. I had to use 2 700 scope plate kits to match the screw base lengths but it worked. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk |

Hello everyone, I left email at Boyds, I have purchased several stocks from them, I really like their Tacticool style and hopefully they will start making them for the Remy 783, they are a little heavy and wider than the OEM stock, but they are good for shooting and I like the finish on them.

Hi all,
I was reading through the Forum for ideas about 783 barrel options, as I'm looking for a heavier varmint-style barrel weight, to improve the heat management and accuracy. The standard stock sporter barrel is great for weight savings and casual shooting, but once you get up to about 10 rounds it really heats up and accuracy/consistency starts getting impacted, especially at distance. I saw a post here about third party after market options that are in progress (Criterion). Are there any updates on this? Has anyone brought a product to market yet, besides Criterion? What about Remington - can you take a heavier, longer barrel made for the 700 series and use it on the 783? |

There's a company EBC I think it was that makes one piece rails
I'm looking into a bottom metal for them I can't find anything in Canada, I'd live a 10-20 round mag pinned to 5 as per laws, I have ideas but resources are key |
