Picked this jewel up this weekend... I've done my best to date it and believe it is a 1913 based on serial number and caliber indicator on the side. I am looking for a rough value. For the age, I personally think it is in about 80% condition maybe better. Feel free to give your advice. And just my luck, can't add a picture from my phone...

Hey Macogans. I am assuming you have a carbine length with the C description. Bluebook lists a 14 R carbine with 18 1/2 inch barrel with straight grip stock. My books is a few years old but should be worth at least $500 or a bit better. Made from 1912-1935. If yours has a finger-nail safety it's worth more. Nice find ya got there Machine forged parts and hand-fitting back then. Read an article in Shooting Times on these guns that said if these guns were produced same way today they would cost $3000. hope this helps.

Welcome to the Remington Owners Forum Macogans !!

Any evaluation as to condition is subjective...a few pictures would definitely help.
