I have been ranging around the site trying to determine how you upload a photo on this site. Might have missed the answer somewhere, but so far I have not been able to find instructions. Can someone tell me what I need to do to post a photo(s)?

Thanks Bob

Gentlemen,
Any chance we could have an upload facility like on the Ithaca sister site? Its very simple, restricts to 3 pictures per post and allows direct copy/paste from PC. I cancelled photobucket as it seemed to have a virus or something that affected my PC. I believe that more Pics would enhance this already great site

I dropped Photobucket when they went to that "upgrade and pay" model. I do all my photo sharing and hosting thru Imgur now.

I have been checking the differences between this forum and its sister Ithaca forum when posting.
When posting, beneath the typing text box and to the right of the 'options' tag on the Ithaca site is 'upload attachments' On this site there is nothing. Am I missing something or do I have to switch something on to enable me to post photos? There is great content on Remington owners but not too many pictures. There must be a way as John A posted a great pic of his Mossberg 500 today!
Or maybe I'm just stupid!!!

Thank You Sir!
Try out time now!
Oops! With the greatest respect Sir, I believe you have set the parameters too small at 256 Bytes, I believe that maybe it should be 256K bytes

When I try to upload a pic it says my picture is too big. Max is 256 KiB. I'm trying to down size my pic but so far it hasn't worked. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

This web software hasn't been updated yet. So if you find/use a hosting site that would be the easiest way.
try imgur...it's free and easy...

https://imgur.com/upload

or, you can try the way I do it....send the picture to myself in a message on the text message ap. save the incoming picture to my gallery. then post that saved picture up. It should downsize it automatically for you.

or....
you can try using photoshop on a pc to downsize the picture. I don't know how to do that....
