shells wont eject

have had this 877 for about 1 month, love the gun, but problemes are showing up,fixed most with help from this site now with 3.5 shells, they wont eject.after fireing the first, the shell gets stuck and the next tries to go in causing all kinds of trouble, any ideas?

Polishing the chamber will prevent the shells from getting stuck.

just finished bending,polishing and everything else people have posted,off for geese in the morning,bringing the 870 for back up,hope i dont need it

Good luck!

Polish will only help if your problem is the action getting stuck in forward position because the shell is stuck in the chamber. For some reason remington made the chamber too tight for some shells.

You might also have a problem with the action arm timings if the shells dont feed from the mag tube, or if it feeds multiple at once. Theres some bending you can do to fix this in the trouble shooting section.

And the last problem i had was that the lifter didn't go all the way up causing shells to go sideways sometimes when cycling the gun, theres also a fix for that in its own topic.


It's a pain to get this gun working but now that i've shot thousands of rounds without a single misfire or feeding problem, i couldn't be happier!

got back from goose hunt,didnt get any,heavy fog,but set up a taget and let loose,the only problem i have now is when there are 6 other guys there i run out of shells fast.thank you grodin i almost gave up on, now the best shotty i have
