I need advice on a 700 30 06, I want to buy one with a wood stock. I need to buy a used one. Which models came or come with a wood stock?
Is there a difference in quality with the 700 models?
Thank you for any advice.

I would also like to know if there's any obvious wear areas that I should look for that are common or may cause problems.
